2008 POSTER ARTWORK AUCTION

Our beautiful 2008 poster was developed using an original watercolor painting by recognized classic car artist Mike Hill.

The original artwork will be auctioned at our Saturday night dinner, July 19, 2008, 6:00 – 8:30 pm at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. Interested bidders may attend our dinner to participate in the auction or submit a written bid prior to the dinner as described below.

SUBMISSION OF WRITTEN BIDS:

If you cannot attend our dinner but would like to submit a bid, written bids received at our mailing address no later than Friday, July 18, 2008 will be included in our auction. Written bids must be submitted on the official Bid Form identified at the bottom of this page. Mailing address:

Such bidders are totally responsible for delivery to this address by the deadline. Written bids received after normal mail delivery Friday, July 18, 2008 will not be considered.

NOTE:

The original artwork will be on display at A Framer’s Touch, 1920 21st Avenue, Forest Grove (503-359-5109), just a block west of the Pacific University campus, for three weeks prior to our Concours and up to 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2008. It will also be on display at the Saturday night dinner.

The original artwork is 25 x 33 inches, somewhat larger than the Poster image, and of course does not include the promotional information that appears on the Poster. While the Poster is beautiful, it is greatly exceeded by the striking color of the original art. The artwork features a 1948 Chrysler Convertible, presently based in Happy Valley, Oregon.
