Stile Transatlantico / Transatlantic Style’ explores the creative exchange between Italy and the United States in automotive design between 1945 and 1960.  The beautifully designed pages featuring the stunning images of noted automotive photographer Michael Furman take readers through examples of how Italian designers incorporated the optimism of American jet-age design on Italian automobiles, and on the flip side, how American stylists and manufacturers infused the design heritage and artistic glamour from Italy in domestic car designs destined for a U.S. market hungry for new automobiles.
